JW Bell is a leading manufacturer in the area of aggregate processing equipment and custom fabrications. As a dealer, manufacturer and service center we work directly with producers to provide the best equipment available.
We are looking for a full-time experienced Field Service/In House Maintenance Technician to add to our growing business. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package which includes, health, dental, disability insurance and a 401K plan.
The qualified candidate for this position will be able analyze malfunctions and make repairs on new and used aggregate and construction equipment. The majority of repairs and rebuilds are done on site at the customers location. We expect quality work to be performed in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities will include:
- Operate and inspect new and used machines or equipment to diagnose defects and proper running.
- Dismantle and reassemble equipment, using micrometers, gauges and other special tools.
- Examine parts for damage or excessive wear.
- Tests overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
- Weld broken parts and structural members.
- Reports each Service Call or Repair job upon completion, and at the site, giving the company required information.
- Reports Warranty repairs in detail.
- Adheres to MSHA and OSHA regulations at all times and is aware of and exhibits safety precautions at all times.
- Conducts self in a professional manner with customers and company associates, willing to impart knowledge appropriately.
- Maintains and cleans shop area, shop and field equipment according to company standards.
- Perform other service tasks as they may be assigned by the service manager.
Skills and Abilities required to perform this job include:
- CDL license
- Mechanical aptitude with fine motor coordination.
- Blueprint reading of structural drawings.
- Understanding of wiring schematics
- Computer skills
- Welding Certification
- Ability to lift up to 75# and be physically active as required.
- Ability to source information to do the job.
- Good judgement and the ability to make decisions independantly.
- MSHA and OSHA preferred, but will will train the right candidate.

We are looking for a full time Fabricator. We provide uniforms and offer a competitive wage and benefit package. Holidays are paid upon hiring, vacation accruals begin after 30 days with 15 paid days the first full year.
We are looking for employees who are reliable and can work 40-50+ hours/week. Since our products are custom built, team members are required to read blue prints and lay out their work independently and be comfortable with learning new things.
Skills Required:

- Ability to setup and operate welder
- Understand and control weld variables
- Ability to identify process issues and offer solutions
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds

We are looking for employees who are reliable an can work 40-50+ hours /week depending on the schedule. Knowledge of aggregate and mining equipment (heavy equipment) will be a plus for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and inspect new and used machines or equipment to diagnose defects and proper running
- Report each service call or repair job upon completion and at the site, giving the customer required information and correct detail for invoicing to the main office
- Adheres to MSHA and OSHA regulations at all times and is aware of and exhibits safety precautions on the job.

- Conducts self in a professional manner with the customers and company associates.
- Performs other service tasks as they may be assigned by the service manager.
- Some overnight travel may required for large projects.

JW Bell is seeking a motivated and skilled Drill Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and servicing of Sandvik drilling equipment to ensure reliable and safe operation for our customers. The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a strong commitment to quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair drilling equipment and related machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative service on drills.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Document service and repair work accurately and in a timely manner.
• Work both independently and as part of a team in shop and field environments.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment while following company safety standards.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in equipment service, maintenance, or mechanical repair preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel to customer sites when needed.
